Healthcare Technology Systems, Inc. (HTS), the leader in clinical interactive voice response (IVR) system applications, (http://www.healthtechsys.com) announced the appointment of Chris Snyder to Chief Executive Officer / President. In addition to becoming part of HTS’ ownership group, Mr. Snyder will lead the senior management team, focusing initially on business strategy, company operations, and financial management.
In August 2004, HTS received FDA approval for the use of its technologies by pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies seeking FDA approval for new compounds. A key to the company’s success is its strategic alliance with ClinPhone Group Ltd.; a UK based clinical technology organization. ClinPhone is the world leader in telephone and Internet-based Electronic Trial Management solutions, and is the exclusive licensee for the use of HTS' assessments on any device or medium used in Phase I - IV clinical trials funded by pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device companies.

Previously, Mr. Snyder held executive positions with a privately held protein bio-technology company, where he served as operating company CEO / President, and Executive Vice President of the corporate parent responsible for mergers and acquisitions. Prior to these roles, he held positions in finance and brand marketing with Amoco Corporation. After completing 4 years on active duty as a German linguist in the U.S. Army, Military Intelligence branch, Mr. Snyder received his BBA from The University of Iowa, and MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
